Planet Frugi

It's all about wonderful organic cotton clothing for babies, children and mums. We strive to make outfits that are modern, stylish, gorgeously soft, designed with ultimate comfort in mind and all reflecting a full of beans attitude to life. 

Our name Frugi (which rhymes with boogie) is derived from Latin – fruits of the earth – and helps explain our company approach;  we always try our best at being green.  This isn’t always as clear as black and white; we have to do our research, think things through and make flexible choices always checking our way of doing things.  We also like to keep all of our faithful customers thoroughly involved and up to date with all our adventures.

Frugi have just been awarded Gold at the prestigious Cornwall Business Awards as Winner of Winners – we like to think it is the Olympics of the business world.  Our innovative non GM potato starch packaging really made an impact and is proving popular as an alternative to conventional plastic and even biodegradable, but genetically modified (GM), corn starch. Our clothes still have the protection they need and the bags can be composted with other garden waste in the delightful conditions of a heap.
