We are celebrating World Breastfeeding Week! ( August 1st-8th 2013)
A Frugi mum has written a lovely poem aboutย herย feelings and experience of breast feeding;
Why I Love Breastfeeding
Brand new, pink-faced, love-filled, first feeds.
Sleepy-eyed, getting-light, lazy, early morning feeds.
Eyes locked, mouth-full smiles, cheeky, everyday feeds.
Fast flowing, overflowing, full-tummied, late feeds.
Cuddled up, on a bench, breezy great-outdoor feeds.
Wide-mouthed-rooting, rhythmic-gulping, milk-guzzling, frenzied feeds.
Head-twisting, breast-stretching, arms waving, distracted feeds.
Bottom-wriggling, top-tugging, breast-bashing, hungry feeds.
Cry-soothing, gently rocking, tight cwtching, comfort feeds.
Sleep-inducing, deep-drinking, tummies touching, horizontal feeds.
Slow and steady; quietly snuggled; dusky-evening, dream-feeds.
Star-gazing, moon-bathing, peaceful, silent-night feeds (my favourite)

Fab poem well done you!
Gorgeous poem Sally! Love the Welsh reference. Where are you finding time to write anything! Well done you. x
