We thought it would be fun to have a ‘Bring Your Little One To Work Day’, we wanted to celebrate Frugi’s working parents and we thought it would be a nice way for our children to get to know each other! We asked everyone in the office (either full/part time parents and some on maternity leave too) with little ones under school age if they wanted to join us… we ended up with a gorgeous bunch of 15 little ones! We were set for a crazy day!!
The day started with some play and a cuppa! After a bit of warming the up the kids were getting along great 🙂
Then we all took turns having some photos in the studio… it’s very rare we have time to get some nice photos with our little ones so we thought this would be a nice treat for everyone!
We also attempted a group shot, (which was mayhem!) luckily an impromptu rendition of ‘The wheels on the bus’ and ‘If you’re happy and you know it’ began and it bought some calm to the chaos!
In the afternoon we tucked into yummy lunch and cakes and got stuck into a fun rainbow craft activity.
Also it was a nice opportunity for the children to have a look around the office to see where Mummy or Daddy work.
It was a really lovely day and something we’d love to repeat with the older children who were at school sometime in the holidays.
Have your place of work ever been brave enough to host a fun day like this? Or do you work from home and juggle ‘bringing your little ones to work with you’ everyday?! If you are like us, when they’re around not a lot of work gets done, but we had an extremely fun and tiring day!!
