Over the past 11 years we have donated more than £113,000 to the Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s ‘living seas’ programme.
We recently celebrated our donations with the Cornwall Wildlife Trust in true Frugi style; by having a shindig down on the beach!
There was a fabulous Snorkel safari led by the Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s Marine Team; wetsuits were squeezed into and flippers were donned.
Treasures discovered included starfish, crabs, seaweed.. and a golf ball from the local driving range!
For those of us who dared to brave the chilly waters; there was a special surprise… a real-life Mermaid joined us for a splash about!
Top tip of the day came from CWT’s Matt… ‘To prevent your snorkel mask from steaming up; clean it with a bit of toothpaste!’
After the snorkeling we all enjoyed a delicious BBQ prepared by the Frugi Fun committee. They all looked fabulous in their Frugi Aprons and even carried on cooking despite the typical British summer downpours.
We cant wait for the next one 🙂
The CWT are doing amazing work to protect our Cornish coast and the creatures that live in and around it. You can find out more here > http://bit.ly/2wZwoHt
