An update from The Sick Children’s Trust

Last year through our Little clothes BIG change initiative we donated £20,540 to The Sick Children’s Trust’s ‘Home From Home’ project.  We recently caught up with them to see how our donations are making a difference.

How has the project progressed since our final donation to you in June?

Benefiting from Frugi’s Little Clothes BIG Change initiative has made a significant difference to The Sick Children’s Trust and our work supporting thousands of families across the country with free ‘Home from Home’ accommodation while their child undergoes lifesaving treatment in hospital.

With thanks to the generous donations from Frugi and its customers, over the last year The Sick Children’s Trust has been able to provide 691 nights of free, comfortable accommodation to keep families together. Based on the average night stay of 11 nights, Frugi have helped keep 63 more families together in our ‘Home from Home’ accommodation for the duration of their child’s stay.

Frugi’s Little Clothes, BIG Change has made a significant difference to our work supporting thousands of families across the country with free ‘Home from Home’ accommodation while their child undergoes lifesaving treatment in hospital. With thanks to the generous donations from Frugi and its customers, over the last year The Sick Children’s Trust has been able to keep more families together in free, comfortable accommodation just minutes from their sick child’s bedside. We know increasing numbers of families need our support and we need to grow to meet this demand. With the backing of companies like Frugi, we can ensure this will happen. Once again, on behalf of every family who relies on our support, we’d like to say a huge thank you to Frugi and its customers for selecting The Sick Children’s Trust as a charity for Little Clothes, BIG Change. The houses are currently running at full capacity – and without the support of companies like Frugi, many families would often have nowhere else to go.”
