Milk, no sugar please Lara ;)

This week we have been joined by a very special member of the Frugi Family!

Lara has been helping us out in the Graphic Design department as part of her work experience this summer.

Her mum Sy has worked at Frugi since 2004 and is one of the longest serving members of the team!

Lara even featured in one of our early Frugi catalogues when she was just 4 years old! Awwwwww what a cutie! 🙂

We asked Lara  what she thought about working with the Frugi gang…

What did you enjoy about working with the Frugi team?

They are all such lovely people who made me feel welcome and laugh a lot. They made sure I was involved in their current projects. They taught me many new skills and showed me the use of Graphic Design in their work, I already miss working with them.

How did it feel coming to work with your mum?

Very strange… I used to sometimes pop in after school a few years ago and so much has changed since then!. The Frugi team has grown really fast but it’s so nice how many friendly faces have been there for as long as I can remember!

What interests you about graphic design?

I really enjoy being creative, with Graphic Design I like how you constantly see ideas developing as you go through the design process. It interests me how many different things you can design, the possibilities are endless. It is also really good fun.

How many cups of tea did you make?

0! Which now I feel awful about considering how many times I was offered tea! I don’t really drink hot drinks! Once I accidentally served a lady cold tea at another job when the kettle switch wasn’t working and I’ve never trusted myself since!

What are your plans for the rest of the summer?

I am hoping to pass my driving test, I have a few lessons booked. I also want to prepare myself for the final year of A Levels by getting some of my coursework done early – luckily I enjoy this! I am looking for a part time job and in my free time I would like to do some art and see my friends on the beach while it is sunny.

Thanks for all your hard work Lara! Enjoy the summer! 🙂
