We are all aware of the devastating damage that plastic is doing to our environment. Instead of buying plastic toys for the kids this year, why not buy something a little kinder to the planet?

Top tip for an eco-friendly Christmas

Make sure you use recyclable wrapping paper  – every year millions of sheets of non-recyclable wrapping paper are dumped after Christmas. Wrapping paper can only be recycled if it passes the scrunch test! 

Be aware that Christmas cards and wrapping paper with glitter, foil or paper that still has sticky tape attached cannot be recycled!

    We’ve sourced and upcycled 2 bikes bought from the local tip shop and some wooden toys from a charity shop. Other presents are experience vouchers eg annual zoo pass.
