Hannah - 36 weeks pregnant

Reviewing: April Showers Rain Mac with removable panel (RRP £80)

Hannah wears size: 10

Does the item fit nicely?

"I would say this coat fits really well, it’s a great length and I love that it’s longer at the back. The waist toggles are fab and make it very feminine. I’m usually a size 10 and it fits great with plenty of room across the back and good length in the arms.

I think the design of the coat is feminine and encapsulates the Frugi fun without being overly childish. - I’m definitely buying the changing bag to match!!

Does it feel comfortable?

Yes, it feels super comfy and lightweight without feeling cheap, the coat has a lovely peached feel on the outer which adds to the premium look and feel of the jacket. Plenty of room to scoop up a muddy toddler!

Does it make you feel good?

Yes, it’s so lovely to step out on a drab day wearing something so bright and beautiful- it’s also nice at the tail end of pregnancy when you’re feeling a bit frumpy to say the least to pop on something so feminine - it made me feel pretty!

Definitely a huge improvement on all the navy, black and grey generic maternity coats in the market.

The zip moves freely up and down and is super easy to remove and replace the panel so can be worn after pregnancy too which is great - it’s just me who struggles to talk and do it up at the same time - multitasking isn’t my strongest point!

I really love this jacket and am super pleased with it! My toddler loves it too and I’ve worn it tonnes since it arrived!!

Harriet - Mum to 6½ month old twins

Reviewing; Roisin Denim Tunic (RRP £45)

Saffron Vest (RRP £25)

Parsnip Hareem Trousers (RRP £45)

Size: 10/Small

Are you breastfeeding?

Yes, exclusively breastfeeding identical twin boys for 6 months so far

Do the items fit nicely?

I’ve always been a standard size 10 and thought the tunic fit well and true to size as a long tunic top with jeans. I would have personally preferred it a little longer as a tunic dress to wear with tights, but that’s just my style.

The vest is a perfect size 10 and nice thick cotton to stretch to boob size and growing bump if you have one.

I am 5”7 and the length of the trousers was perfect on me. The maternity waist band is really nice soft stretchy cotton and would have been ideal for my twin growing bump.

Does it feel comfortable?

Yes, the top is made from a really soft denim. The lightweight material is really cooling, great for the hormone sweats!

The vest is made from super soft organic cotton like the children’s clothes. A really nice, thick stretchy material which washes really well too!

The Hareem trousers are sort of trousers you literally never want to take off! I wish I still had my bump to get away with wearing these longer. Ideal Sunday roast trousers now!

Do you like the look of the items?

The detail on the denim tunic is really lovely. The pleat on the front and the option to have the sleeves rolled up or long sleeve is a great feature.

The colour of the vest is one of my favourite blue colours. Really easy to wear with anything and looks great with jeans.

The print on the trousers is just happy! They are bright and cheerful and go perfectly with the saffron indigo vest!

Do you find the breastfeeding function of the garment easy to use?

Once I had undone the buttons on the tunic it was very easy to feed. I think I need to wear in the buttons a little as it was a little bit of a faff and stiff when new. The buttons do go low enough to feed and I could even tandem feed the twins if need be.

So easy and discreet to nurse in. I think I will be living in this top, especially in the warmer months when I don’t have the jumper layer. The built-in layer is genius.

Does it make you feel good?

I really liked the tunic, but I would have preferred a little longer to wear with tights. The vest is a maternity and nursing staple for sure that made life easy and was so comfortable

The Hareem trousers are just the definition of happy in a trouser!

Lucy - mum to 12 month old Fina

Reviewing: Iris Top  (RRP £40)

Size: 12

Does the top fit nicely?

Yes, it is slightly on the large side, but this works well for a new mum who might not want to be in something clingy. I probably should have opted for the size 10 if I wanted a neater fit - but I like a roomy fit personally.

Does it feel comfortable?

Yes very. The fabric if lovely and soft, and feels really good quality.

Do you like the look of the item?

Yes, love the style - simple and not too ‘mumsy’ it doesn't feel like I’m wearing a special feeding top.

Does it make you feel good?

Yes, I liked wearing it and I felt good in it.

If you are breastfeeding, does the breastfeeding function of the top work for you? Is it comfortable to feed in?

Yes, definitely. Really easy to feed wearing this top - I would feel comfortable wearing this top to breastfeed in public, and it’s nice because Fina also liked it - she sometimes strokes the fabric whilst feeding and did so a lot more than normal in this top!

Would you recommend this item to your friends?

Yes!
