The company was born in 2004 and continues to grow at 25% every year, selling through a rapidly expanding network of over 500 stockists in more than 25 countries worldwide.

We strive to be ethical in everything we do, each year donating 1% of our turnover to our Little Clothes BIG Change charity project which includes a children’s charity, the Cornwall Wildlife Trust and an orphanage in India.

About you

With a background in IT project management, you’ll be highly experienced in delivering change and managing the transformation journey within a business. This pivotal role would suit someone who is calm and excellent communicator with the ability to break down requests into solution options before driving tasks to completion without fuss. Retail or wholesale experience would be highly beneficial and the role would suit someone who is analytical with strong Excel skills, as well as PowerPoint, Word, Visio and Project (although training will be provided). You’ll be highly computer literate and super organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. 

Your Role in a Nutshell

You’ll own and drive the business transformation plan as defined by the Senior Leadership Team in line with the business’ strategic priorities. You’ll manage a number of cross-functional projects and deliver new or enhanced business capabilities that may have technical components. You’ll be a key driving force within the business and the go-to person for all aspects of the project plan, and will be responsible for chairing regular progress meetings with internal and external stakeholders. 

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Build, own and drive the programme plan and work lists, including associated governance and periodisation methodology.
  • Own and chair appropriate meetings to track progress against the plan and effectively manage risks, issues and facilitate decision-making in a timely manner.
  • Provide weekly management updates on completion status.
  • Track and manage project budgets, as well as external vendors and contracts.
  • Present on initiatives to larger groups and the Senior Management Team.
  • Create business cases through pre-defined templates.
Document Creation

By exception the role will need to get “into the detail” and this will include:

  •       Process mapping
  •       Requirements gathering
  •       Training/Standard Operating Procedures documentation
Essential Skills
  • You’ll have proven experience owning and maintaining technical components

  • You’ll be able to use your experience and initiative to remove blockers quickly through effective and timely governance in the form of clear, relatable work lists and well ordered project documentation.
  • You’ll be a calm and capable communicator, with previous experience with communicating with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
  • You’ll have an appreciation of agile delivery method and Price2 or PMP training would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • You’ll ideally have retail or wholesale background and several years’ experience of managing projects.
  • Creative and innovative thinker and ‘out of the box’ problem solver.
  • Able to manage and motivate a small team.
  • Super organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Solid IT skills, with good working knowledge of MS Office programs and the ability to learn in-house systems quickly.
