OUR FABRICS
Organic Cotton
Our βday oneβ commitment to only use organic cotton in our virgin cotton ranges still stands. From jersey to twill and knitwear to brushback fleece. All our organic cotton clothing is proudly GOTS certified, which means every step of the process, right from using certified organic fibres to how our clothes are made, meets strict environmental and ethical standards.
We work from the ground up, literally
Our choice to use organic cotton isn't just about soft threads, it's about supporting organic farming methods that nurture the soil, use natural pest control, and encourage biodiversity; helping boost wildlife by up to 50% on organic farms. Itβs all part of creating a healthier planet to grow and play on.
But it doesnβt stop at the farm
GOTS certification covers how our certified organic cotton is processed. That means no toxic dyes or finishes, responsible water and energy use, and safe working conditions for everyone involved. Every stage, from ginning and spinning to stitching and packing is independently checked to meet globally recognised, rigorous environmental and social standards.
Itβs about making thoughtful choices that are better for people and the planet, without compromising on colour, comfort or quality. So thatβs why, for us, itβs got to be organic, and it's got to be GOTS. Join us in making a positive change to the clothing industry.
WHY BE ORGANIC?
Recycled Cotton
Recycled cotton gives existing fibres a new life. By repurposing cotton from old clothing and textile waste, it reduces the need for virgin materials, keeps valuable resources in use for longer and uses less energy to process since the fibres are already formed.
Our recycled cotton is blended with organic cotton to give the yarn strength resulting in a soft yet durable yarn. The fibres are collected, sorted, and re-spun into new fabrics, helping to lower textile waste, support a circular approach to fashion, and move us closer to a brighter future for our planet.
Recycled Polyester
Did you know that over 11 million metric tons of plastic enter our oceans each year?
We love clothes that do good
Our swimwear, outerwear and adventure accessories are made using post-consumer recycled plastic bottles.
Our dedication to help reducing the impact on the planet by re-using resources is reflected in our styles that are crafted from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles (yes, that's the plastic bottles you put in your recycling!)
This means that not only are we helping divert consumer waste from ending up in our oceans, but also reducing the environmental impact of conventional polyester production. This approach contributes to a greener future and lower greenhouse gas emissions, aligning with our commitment to love the planet we play on.

FROM OLD PLASTIC TO

We love our planet and try our best to protect it. We are so chuffed to be able to say that our swimwear, outerwear, backpacks, lunch bags & pencil cases have been made from post-consumer recycled plastic! Turning old plastic into something Frugitastic!
But how does this magic happen we hear you ask? Well, ponder no longer...

BOTTLES
Plastic bottles are made of polyethylene (PET), a form of polyester that can be recycled. The plastic bottles have their caps removed and are given a good clean.

FLAKES
They are then shredded and processed into flakes, which are then cleaned and transformed into chips.

PELLETS
These pellets are melted and whizzed around in a spinneret to make strings of yarn.

4. YARN
This yarn is then woven into the fabrics we use to create our outerwear, backpacks, lunch bags, pencil cases and swimwear!
Our Outerwear range is designed for adventure and made to last. Crafted from post-consumer recycled materials - for less landfill and more rain cover.
Our range of accessories (from backpacks to water bottles!) will have your little one ready to take on every adventure.
Our Snuggle Products are crafted from recycled materials and are just the ticket for keeping warm and snuggly on big (or small!) adventures.
