HR Manager

About you

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join Frugi, based in the heart of Cornwall, to help recruit and maintain a happy, healthy, and productive workforce. You will be confident in delivering a comprehensive and professional generalist HR service to all managers and staff, throughout our organisation. You will also act as a role model, inspiring others and projecting the company values in all that you do. This is a fast-paced role and will require you to be super organised, adaptable, and comfortable engaging with stakeholders at various levels across the business.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Function as the first point of contact for all employees and resolving first line queries in a customer focussed and timely manner.
  • Provide accurate and sound advice to employees and managers, as required, on our policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date HR systems and employee records while always ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Lead and manage the recruitment process end to end for each vacancy, collaborating with hiring managers to shape a robust and thorough selection process.
  • Manage all employee administration throughout their lifecycle with the company, including onboarding, probation reviews, amendments to terms and conditions of employment, benefits, annual performance reviews, reference requests and leaver correspondence.
  • Compile information to provide to the accounts team for monthly payroll, including hours, sickness, holiday, and unpaid leave.
  • Identify training needs within the business and organise training courses as required.
  • Provide support and advice to line managers on formal and sometimes complex HR processes.
  • Compile, analyse and present key HR data, for example staff metrics, holiday data, sickness absence, turnover data, providing ad hoc reports as required.
  • Regularly measure employee satisfaction, analysing and reporting results and identifying areas that require improvement. Provide well considered solutions for improvements.
  • Working with HR managers within the Refined Brands group to provide HR support to group and cross-brand departments.

Desirable Capabilities

  • Educated to at least CIPD level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Highly organised, methodical with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising and managing tasks.

Photography Coordinator

About You

With a background in Photography you’ll be passionate about helping to create engaging photography that makes people fall head over heels in love with Frugi. You’ll be brimming with ideas to continue to improve Frugi’s campaign and ecommerce photography. You are a confident communicator and happy working in a fast-paced environment, with adults and children. Keen to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in, you’ll be ready to turn your hand to anything from retouching images, booking models and creating spreadsheets. Creativity, problem solving and organisation are your key skills; you’ll be computer literate, confident with Photoshop and have excellent time management skills.

Your Role in a Nutshell

Reporting directly to the Photography Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting the photography team to deliver seasonal and day-to-day still and moving-image projects. You will work on projects from the initial conception, through to the final realisation, assisting at every stage. The varied nature of the role will see you using your excellent creativity to help plan, organise and carry out location and studio photoshoots. Working closely with the wider Marketing team and Design, you will ensure that the imagery produced is informed, and communicating effectively. When you’re not in the studio, you’ll be working on post-production and keeping the filing systems up to date.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Photography Manager to develop seasonal ideas for photoshoots
  • Source appropriate photoshoot locations based on seasonal themes & obtain relevant permissions
  • Plan scenes and design/purchase/create props
  • Shoot product flats in the studio
  • Arrange castings and fit sessions for models
  • Retouch and export images using Photoshop
  • Monitor ecommerce imagery and ensure that live images are accurate and up to date
  • Organise and look after the photography clothing samples
  • Attend all photoshoots; assist photographer and Photography Manager, style products, greet models and parents

Essential skills

  • You’ll have a passion for photography and keep yourself up to date with industry trends
  • Experienced in working with Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Bridge and Photoshop
  • Experience of Premier Pro and Capture One a bonus
  • Degree level education.
  • Knowledge of basic studio photography techniques a bonus
  • Competent in using a DSLR.
  • Excellent and confident communicator in the spoken and written word, with accuracy and great attention to detail
  • Super organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Enjoy working with children

Marketing Coordinator

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Work across departmentally to gather exciting news and developments for our community, attention to detail and accuracy is key to delivering informative and honest updates.
  • Be the passionate driving force behind the Frugi organic social channels and groups, present and new.
  • Manage the daily social media admin, actively engaging with our online community whilst creating inspiring and stimulating content.
  • Keep up to date with communication trends, consumer insights and developments, competitor analysis and sustainability news.
  • Organised and monitored, compile monthly PR, influencer, and social media reports for the business with recommendations for growth and development.
  • Responsible for creating brand and campaign copy across the business.
  • Manage influencer activations for paid placement and gifting partnerships, from sourcing, gifting, contracting, and budgeting to increase brand awareness, social engagement, follower growth, and website traffic.
  • Plan activity with credible partners, including giveaways, interviews and articles that represent the brand and support brand values.
  • Support the Marketing Managers and the wider team in overall company marketing strategies, internal and external.

  • Previous marketing experience or relevant qualification
  • Previous writing experience

Customer Orders Fulfilment Assistant - Picker & Packer

About the Company:

Frugi are a Cornish fashion brand that specialises in sustainably sourced clothes for babies, children and new mothers. We design soft and comfy clothing made for children to wear and play in. It all started in 2004 where our mission was to show the world that we can create a great brand whilst upholding strong ethical and environmental values. Playful style, and ethics are at the very heart of what do.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to the Assistant Manager, you will support the Warehouse team with the fulfilment of customer orders providing an exceptional service and quality of work.
  • You will assist with the picking and packing of orders
  • Shifts are usually between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Overtime available on Saturday
  • This is a fixed term contract for initially 8 weeks. It may be possible to offer an extension or a permanent position to suitable candidates following a review before the contract end date.

The candidate:

  • Will have experience performing in a fast-paced environment and providing customer service through their work.
  • Will be friendly and enjoy working as part of a team, but also be capable of working individually, unsupervised whilst maintaining work rate.
  • Is comfortable achieving daily performance based targets and working to task deadlines.
  • Will be reliable and self-motivated with good attention to detail.
  • Will manage their time well and be able to work efficiently whilst maintaining accuracy.
  • Should be open to working on a multitude of warehouse tasks when required.
  • Will be computer literate, efficient and accurate with data entry.
  • Will have a base level of fitness as the role is active. The role requires some lifting and the use of step ladders.
  • Full training will be provided to the successful applicant
