Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, clients and partner organisations, communicating effectively and efficiently with customers and colleagues in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
  • Answer a high volume of calls and maintain a rapid response rate to agreed standards, striving for high order value through link selling and customer rapport building, remaining calm and providing a professional response at all times.
  • Professionally respond to sales and customer queries using a problem solving approach to find solutions for customers, resolving complaints and queries as necessary. This will be achieved through: diffusing any difficult situations; responding to written communications in accordance with departmental standards, ensuring accurate information is provided and spelling & grammar is correct; where appropriate, recognising situations outside of your control passing these on correctly
  • Contact customers by letter, email and/or telephone in support of planned or unplanned promotions and audits or to increase sales figures as directed by the Manager or the Supervisor providing information to customers of current or special offers available.
  • Process orders and catalogue requests placed by telephone, email, & post in a timely & accurate manner.

Merchandiser (Maternity Leave Cover)

The role:

You will be responsible for the collation of relevant data, analysing the information to advise the

business for range building, placing buys, budget and to ensure Frugi can reach its full potential in line

with company strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Budget Planning/Marketing

  • Create Annual and Seasonal Revenue and margin Budget by month and week for Frugi Online Business
  • Agree OTB with Trading Director along with stock and sales KPIs and discount strategy that feed into this.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to create Seasonal Promotional Plans. Identifying dates for promotions and ascertain Targets £ for individual promotions, based on historic data.

In Season Trading

  • Monitor in-season Consumer performance vs budget and at line level, overseeing production of weekly line report to monitor style performance, passing on recommendations to Buying/Design team
  • Identify promotional requirements to drive sales/exceed budget and maximise stockturn, produce plans which identify incremental sales and NAM opportunity and set all prices for promotions/markdowns, ensuring an acceptable margin is being met.
  • Produce regular sales and stock reports for Frugi On-line (at Gender/category level) – feedback performance to Trading Director and SLT, identifying areas for opportunity/de-risk if necessary.
  • Oversee management of stock between Consumer, Trade and Universal to ensure the stock is channelled correctly to maximise sales.
  • Regularly reforecast seasonal terminal stock risk to review with Trading Director and suggest strategies to manage effectively.
  • Oversee monthly update of continuity styles sales performance and stock levels and reforecast future intake needs. Instigate new POs or rescheduling as necessary.
  • Update WSSI each week.
  • Produce National Trust Royalty Reports quarterly

Range Planning

  • Produce Seasonal Sales Plans by Category, age and gender
  • Create Seasonal Option Plans by Category, age and gender (monitor options vs plan through the range building process)
  • Provide necessary Trend Analysis (to include Seasonal Best Sellers) to support Buyers/Designers in making sound Buying/Design decisions.
  • Work with Buyers to decide on Seasonal Buy quantities by style for Frugi Online Business (using the Trade Best Sellers for guidance and previous sales performance/sell-through’s by style for Consumer)
  • Provide all Size Ratio’s for purchases, based on previous performance.
  • Create buy sheets to pass for production detailing PO requirements by sku in a timely manner.

Ad-Hoc Reports/Analysis

  • Support growth of both the Trade and Consumer business by providing all necessary analysis/reports required to make profitable decisions.

  • Provide day to day line management support including holiday approvals, dealing with absences, etc.
  • Play an active role in supporting the ongoing health and wellbeing of team members, both face to face and remotely.
  • Demonstrate high quality management and deal with sometimes challenging or complex situations, with the support of the People & Culture Team.
  • Provide feedback and reporting to senior management, regarding the performance, growth and future needs of your team when required.
  • Continuously develop your own leadership and people management skills.

The role:

To help support the company’s IT users and systems on a day-to-day basis. To contribute to and support IT infrastructure projects across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

General

  • Support –
    • Windows PC and Mac hardware.
    • Windows system administration.
    • Active Directory users and groups.
    • Office365 cloud portal administration.
    • Office applications such as Word, Excel, Teams, and other business applications.
    • Server hardware.
    • Synology NAS.
    • Backup systems and recovery procedures.
    • Network cabling and infrastructure including switches and firewalls.
    • Printers and multifunction devices.
    • Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues.
    • Phones and conference systems including VOIP (Mitel).
    • Cyber security procedures and systems including threat and phishing protection, endpoint security systems.
  • Maintain the company asset register.
  • Provide support to end users to allow them to do their jobs effectively.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to IT projects as and when required.

Individual Capabilities:

Excellent interpersonal skills: This role is primarily about helping people, being capable of developing good working relationships is essential.

Good technical aptitude and an ability to learn on-the-go. We don’t expect anyone to know everything, but you will need the ability to learn quickly in order to respond to new issues as they arise.
